This is the best quality Niacin, along with Twinlab. How can I tell -- the "flush" factor after taking 200 mg is strong, meaning it is potent.

I had an allergic attack. My heart rate went to 170. I had to go to the hospital. I will mention that I did take the Niacin w/ out food. I am not sure if that would've made a difference for me...I would first consult doctor or take small sample size first to see how you would react. Niacin has helped my brother w/ lowering Cholesterol.

I bought this product to help lower my cholesterol and it's supposed to give a flush. Previous niacins have but this one doesn't but the warning on the bottle says it does so I don't think it is what I want

Need 500 or 1000 mg slow release to get your moneys worth.

B3 from synthetic source = patchy red spots of asymmetric circulation B3 from whole food like Brewers yeast = Even flow of symmetric beauty But what about the toxin-flushing benefits? Your body doesn't respond well to shock. Period. If you want to be cheap and buy synthetic vitamins as opposed to Brewer's yeast, eating liver, bee pollen... Then health is clearly not your main priority. Do something, do it right. Signed Carlos
