Developed by researcher and author. Do Barry Sears, the Zone eating plan has helped millions of people maintain a healthy weight and reach optimal health and wellness. Zone Cereal provides a scientifically design combination of protein, carbohydrates and fat to help you get into the "Zero", so you can feel energetic and help maintain a lean and healthy body.
7 Zone Rules to remember:
- Make sure every meal and snack has the right combination of low-fat protein, favorable carbohydrates (like vegetable and fruit), and a dash of "good" fat.
- Always eat a zone meal, such as a Zone Cereal, within one hour of waking.
- Eat at least five times a day: three Zone meals and two Zone snacks.
- Never let more than five hours go by without eating a Zone meal or snack, even if you're not hungry.
- Use fruits and vegetables for the bulk of your carbohydrate calories- with bread, pasta, grains, and other starches used primarily as condiments.
- Drink at least eight 8-ounces glasses of water every day.
- If you make a mistake, don't worry. Just get back on track with your next meal.
