Formally, I would only purchase the brand of the manufacturer associated with the medical doctor who did the original research on elderberry. Then, the product was recalled! I put Now's Elderberry Extract to the test when I had the start of a flu. Stopped it in its track. Bravo! I'm sold.

I measure any oil by its digestibility, and this goes down quite well. My body seems to like it just fine. Now Foods products consistently deliver good products at fairly low prices.

I reviewed the capsule form of Now's Elderberry Extract. It's marvelous for nipping a virus in the bud. I travel a fair amount, and lozenges are very practical, since you don't need water. It can be taken preventively on the plane or whatever crowded situation you find yourself in. It's also useful for little ones who haven't learned how to swallow pills. For travel, liquid medicine is not practical either.
