I have given this NOW odorless garlic to my seven kids for years at the first sign of a runny nose, sore throat,etc and have saved many sick days. Wierd, but true: I have always called these "garlic candy," and the kids have ALL gone for it. The oil inside is slightly sweet with a mild garlic scent...For babies who are old enough to digest foods other than milk, puncture or bite the end of softgel and squeeze oil into the baby's mouth or mix into food. For competent chewers, just let them munch it. Small softgel is easy to swallow with water for beginners. If you go with the "candy" spin, store out of reach as a couple of my kids have downed large quantities on the sly. Yum. No harsh side effect that we noted, though. We use NOW super odorless with hawthorn and cayenne for hubby and me, but these have been excellent for the kids or for adults with tender tummies. This is a wonderful morning beverage. I stir into hot milk or almond milk for extra creaminess. Sweeten with stevia or flavored stevia drops for a locarb way to ease into your day. Also a great add in for a chocolate protein shake for yummy mocha flavor without artificial ingredients or added caffiene. I have never had coffee, because I have always loved PERO so much. My grandma used Pero to KICK THE COFFEE HABIT, and I used to sip it with her... And now I give it to my kids instead of cocoa, because they don't do well with chocolate. They LOVE Pero. This is at least a dollar cheaper than the grocery store IF you can even find it there.

My nails were much stronger and faster growing afer just a couple weeks taking one cap per day. I used to have frquent/constant skin breakouts, but now just a couple days in the monthly cycle. Skin texture is softer and more resilient after just a few weeks taking Borage. Hair will take some time to notice, but seems shinier already. I use this on a regular basis for me and for my large dogs. It has kept my dogs parasite free without pharmaceutical poisons for years. Our family of 9 used the last jar for over one year. Do the math vs stevia packets for one gallon of beverage a day and you will be amazed. We put it in all our homemade lemonade, tea, cocoa, and kool-aid. Some of us also use it in oatmeal, shakes, smoothies, with mashed fruit for jam, over berries and cream for low glycemic dessert, etc. We had to purchase a special tiny measuring spoon besuase a very little goes a loooooong way. For example, about 3/16 of a teaspoon will do for one gallon of fresh lemonade. Smaller households should consider taping a safe dessicant inside the lid, as the last bit was starting to clump from humidity.
