Nutrition powerhouse, taste isn't as bad as I feared

Purchased the fruit punch flavor as other reviewers advised that it was better than the mango. I am very glad I decided to purchase this to try after all the negative reviews. It can taste bile-like, especially if taken neat. I find that if I dilute it in a ratio of 1:1 with water, it goes down pretty easy, afterwich I usually drink a litre of warm water. The taste is gone or just very little after that. It has been only a week but I will monitor if there are any other positive effects and update!

We love to eat this on its own as it is unsalted! Makes a great addition to most dishes and it is great that it is sprouted, which aids in quicker digestion amongst other benefits.

There is a little more salt in the product that we would like and thus eating it on its own might be too much for some. We dipped into guacamole and it was lovely. Would not eat this too often due to the saltiness but it has a lovely pizza flavor to it!

I was afraid the nori sheets would be soft since it was raw (some brands are) but it was very crunchy just like the roasted nori! Absolutely love this. The package was well sealed too after opening.

Love that the ingredients are sprouted, and it can be quite a good jaw exercise since I make it a point to chew on them slowly and thoroughly. In this way, I take a longer time to eat them and feel full faster. It is quite soft at room temperature, but best to store in the chiller or even the freezer otherwise it might turn rancid due to the delicate nature of the ingredients. Although it is labelled as gluten-free, some friends with high sensitivity had issues after consuming them.

Tasty and addictive!

The goldenberry was quite tart but we still love this. You can add nuts and/or seeds to have a varied trail mix ready for snacking. It is chewy so addition of nuts and seeds will add a nice crunch, perfect as a topping for yoghurt or oats. Bought this to test the berries and we really like it, and plan to buy the goji and mulberry large packs to make our own trail mix.

My favourite flavor of its range

It might be a little sweet as it is date based although the first ingredient in its list is almond butter, but we love this the most in its range as it is not as sweet as the rest (apart from the protein one) probably due to the addition of the greens. The Active Greens Chocolate are delicious too but we are watching our intake of chocolate. I like to put it in the freezer and take it out for a few minutes before eating it, otherwise the texture is too sticky at room temperature.

The portion is unexpectedly large and very filling. As a rice substitute, it is best used with at least some actual rice instead of as a complete substitute, otherwise it tends to be almost like eating jelly. This texture may be more tolerated if combined in a dish with other ingredients. Overall, a good product to reduce calorie intake!

Hemp can be an accquired taste but if you have no issues with it, this is a wonderful 'cereal' to have! Perfect with nut milk. We do prefer the chocolate flavor more (taste and crunchier texture).
